This is one of my favourite models. The entire chanter is blackwood, but the top has a polypenco insert. It will never crack, because moisture never touches the blackwood. It has a solid imitation ivory sole, and plain, beaded nickel ferrule, and John’s clever watertrap. This is one of the best and most affordable blackwood chanters on the market today.
