Many top-flight performers consider Kinnaird bass drone reeds among the steadiest and most reliable in the business. I have found they pair well with Ezeedrone or Canning tenor reeds. The reed can be adjusted for strength and pitch using the O-ring bridle. A small grub screw in the nosecone of the reed allows an extra level of pitch adjustment.
